Nokia will release the new slider handset that is powered by the Series 40 operating system. Known as the Nokia 6260 Slide, the phone has a 2.4 inch display (320 x 480 resolution), 360° navi-key, microSD memory card slot, a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera with flash, assisted GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. The handset also supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity and tri-band UMTS connectivity. the Nokia 6260 Slide will be released in early 2009.
