Amina attended Lahore Grammar School and is a graduate of Kinnaird College, Lahore. She had no intentions of becoming a model or joining showbiz.

She has worked with many photographers including Khawer Riaz, Rehan Qureshi and Rizwan Beig. Amina is best known, as the model who refused to wear sleeveless dresses. People in the fashion industry predicted that her career will be short-lived and she would get very little work in industry, yet she continued to be part of many TV commercials. She has worked in many TV commercials - Pantene, Everyday, Fair & Lovely, Lipton, Sony, Paktel Tango and Nestle Pure Life to name a few. She was at her prime when she left modeling in early 2006.

Well, who says once off the ramp, you are out of the picture! ZQ recently revealed in an interview that its 
rather more fun and exciting being at the audience’s place, watching and observing amazing beauties dressed in finest designer wear rather than being up there on the ramp. Perhaps, that is why ZQ took a break from modeling for a considerable time period and is back in action once again, as glamorous as ever!
Zainab Qayum aka ZQ had bid farewell to runway modeling quite a while ago, leaving her friends and colleagues and everyone is the fashion industry astonished and surprised. But, for ZQ, it was for the best.
ZQ had never left modelling but its the runway she has let go off. All this time, Zainab Qayum aka ZQ wasn’t sitting idle. She was having a wonderful times experiencing many different things. She has had herself equipped with teaching, journalism, a series of TV serials and commercials and so much more. Not just that, she also appeared as a host in place of Nadia Khan for her Breakfast shows, while she was away on a vacation for her delivery.
Not quite happy with the younger coming lot, ZQ feels that the newer coming models need to a good lesson of respecting their profession and most of all, their seniors in the field. There is a height of unprofessionalism going on in the industry, giving rise to a bad competition.
Well, lets just hope that ZQ’s comeback surprise is taken well by her competitors. After all, it’s stunningly talented Zainab Qayum we are talking about!

LAHORE: After Meera, its now the turn of a Pakistani model to star in a Bollywood flick.
Mehreen Syed, a fashion model, who was recently crowned 'International Model of the Year' at a competition held here, has been reportedly signed up by filmmaker Shashi Ranjan to star in an Indian flick.
Mehreen, who recently returned from India, said that she had met the director-producer and agreed to work on a couple of projects with him, which include a movie and a song video.
"I have agreed to work on a couple of projects with him. These include a movie and a song video," she was quoted as saying.
Mehreen, won the 'International Model of the Year Award' last month in a competition contested by models from India, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Hungry, Philippines, Romania, Italy, Australia, Belgium, South Africa, Kenya and Bulgaria, reports the Daily Times.
"It is a great honour to be crowned. I think it was my confident catwalk that swayed the judges. I am the first Pakistani model to have appeared on the title of popular Middle East fashion magazine Alamra. I have also walked the ramp in London, Dubai and Muscat," she added.

Personal LifeSuneeta Marshall was born in Lahore, Pakistan to a Pakistani Christian family. She is a commerce graduate from Karachi’s St Patrick’s College.In April and May 2008, a headline “Dhoom dharakka for Sunita” appeared in various newspapers. Sunita Marshall tied the knot with a co-model Hassan Ahmad. In fact, Hassan turned model & actor to work with her as he was the event manager and met Sunita at one of his shows.
